Let's Play "The Question Game"!

 Hi Everyone!

Thanks for reading my newest comic.  It's been a while since I've had some freedom in time to create this  story.  If your wondering what song I am  referring to in the panels, 1: your a lucky person you have not been exposed, and 2: it's Miley Cyrus "wrecking ball" on the radio.  This comic is also an example why I try to be as an understanding person as possible, because when I start talking crap, I end up the fool.  None of us are perfect...this supercrip sure isn't.

This is officially the 31st comic.  It's kind of shocking to the senses how many I've done.  Thanks for all ya'll support!!!!!!!!

Disability Reality Television

Hellooooooo There Everyone.
Seems I was missing for a few months on here: but truth be told, I became addicted to instagram.  (follow me @charlietreehouse)

This month's comic was inspired by the different realities of people living with and without disabilities,  (ab=able bodied.) in changing rooms.  I don't know about you, but trying on clothes is something I almost dread, depending on how much physical assistance I am having.  Trying on, getting dressed over and over is physically exhausting, so I rarely partake.  Once I get dressed it's pretty much over for me for the whole day, I'm wearing the outfit.  (of course that is not to say that I never change, something may be impossible to live with for any numerous amount of reasons) It seems to me, from observations of AB people my entire life, and in the culture of bodily perfection I've become witness, that many AB people change there outfits multiple times per day.  Sometimes I think of the amount of time and effort it would take me personally to change clothes the same amount of times the average, and then shake my head, "no way".

New Year Resolutions

Happy New Year Everyone!

I thought it was the appropriate time of year to talk about disability and exercise with all the talk of year Resolutions that everyone seems to make.  I haven't actually made any, but I do hope to be more organized and plan to figure out my goals for my comic and other art projects.  I'm excited for 2013.  "make it rain"!

Dun nun nun nun nah . . .

This weeks blog is a tribute to my favorite cartoon when I was a wee one.  It's easy to see why a little crip-kid would love this show.  Although the Inspector was clumsy and limited by his physical attributes, he had any tool to immediately help him in any given situation.  I still want that jacket.

Looking For the Holiday Spirit

Hope everyone is enjoying the month.  In attempts to stop being scrooge like, I create this weeks comic in memory of x-mas shopping with my mum.  I'm sure she misses my help being the cart. Now she has to carry everything herself.  <3 you mummy!

SC: Graffiti Ninja #2

Before. . .

After . . .

SC's at it again...

As "Crips" we get asked all sorts of silly questions.  This weeks post is in response to: "Were you born in a wheelchair?"

Moo's New Outfit

Hello All!
Just thought I should mention that no animals or people were harmed in the making of this months comic.  Although we were not able to take our AFP yet, it will happen. And when it does, it's gonna be spectacular...

Thanks for reading!

Thinking About My Future: More Talks With Moo

I have to say that I'm glad this comic popped into my head.  This is one of the first times I have drawn many people with disabilities at once, it may become a trend.  Have a great week!

Job Hunting: A Drive Up The Wall

So no colorful buses in this one, but it is 3 pages! It took a while to get the story out.  And while it could have taken many more pages of babbling about the interview, recording each statement, I chose to just highlight some points of interest.

Thanks so much for reading!

Megabus Megabust

So yes, I do realize that the date is august but the comic says "July Issue", but due to personal life it has taken some time to get it all finished.  Plus, deciding to do the partial color also takes more time than one would think.  I also would like to mention that Megabus does have accessible buses, you just have to call them up and let them know when your wanting to travel.  So I've been told.

SC Tips for Running Errands

Also, look what I found:

I wrote this definition a long time ago.  Although I appreciate it's frankness, this is still a working definition; as  all definitions are.
